You put the head joint into the middle joint. Then you put the foot joint in the other end of the middle joint.

A mixture of dish soap and water.


How do you maintain this instrument before and after playing?


Before playing, make sure the mating surfaces are free of grit. Line up the joints so they are straight and gently push them together with a twisting motion. After each time you play, take the three pieces of the flute apart and clean with a soft cloth.
