Behind My Name

Behind My Name: Holly

Before I started this assignment, I always thought my name was nice. I think my parents chose this name for me because they must have thought it was pretty.

After searching on Behind the Name I learned that my name means a Holly Tree, you know the one you use for Christmas with the red berries?

Some other interesting things I learned are that it is an old English name. I think my name suits me because I guess I’m used to it.

If I could give myself a new name I think I would never do it because I like my name so much!
